About the Department

The Department of Geography was established in 2008. The geography subject is offered to undergraduate students at B.A/B.Sc. level. The department also conducts Bridge courses and Remedial classes for slow learners. The syllabus for core courses is prescribed by SPPU Pune, whereas the syllabus for Bridge and Remedial courses is designed by the department’s staff.

The department boasts a well-equipped laboratory and offers flexibility in conducting tests, tutorials, and seminars. The staff actively engages in extension activities related to environmental issues, demonstration lectures, and video lessons. They also organize field visits and guest lectures from eminent personalities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
