About the Department

The science stream of Loknete Balasaheb Thorat Art’, Commerce and Science College was established in 2016 with a mission to spread the knowledge of science among the area’s students. The botany department was established in 2016 with the aim to impart knowledge on the flora of the different regions of the world and familiarize the flora of the region to the students and layman.

Goal of the department:

Advancement, development and empowerment of the students by imparting quality education.

VISION:

The continued well-being of the common man through a study of plant sciences.

MISSION:

  •  To promote holistic development through quality education in life science.
  •  To impart basic education in botany.
